Racing seats whos got em

Where's a good place to get them? Are the cheapies on ebay any good?
What brands do people own? How much do they weigh?
Anyone know how much stock seats weigh?

My 2k2 seats weighed 55 and 40 lbs in cloth.

My plastic cheapies weigh 13 ea with the homemade aluminum brackets that connect to existing mounting holes. They are more confortable that the stockers but aren't all that great looking, however I am interested in weight not looks. I did put in one of those orthopedic back supports which lets me ride for hours and love it.

They looked like this in my 95 but they are now in the 2k2.

actually if you get a racing harness the stock seats are not that bad for even the most serious track warriors. I used to have a MOMO seat in my Max just for racing around Road America, or local AutoX, but it was soooo uncomfortable ( sat in it before I purchased it ) that I pulled it out and put my stock driver's seat back in the car. I install my Clubman Sparco 4 point harness whenever I bustn the car out around the track or autox. I reather use the harness than live with the uncomfortable seat for miles and miles. PLUS the harness was 60 bux new and the seat was 300.
