So i get out of work the other night and i start my car, my windows are fogged up so i turn on the front and rear defrost. I also had my radio on and when i hit the rear defrost button i noticed my radio turned to static. Has anyone else noticed that their rear defrost turns their radio signal to garbage??

 

nope, never had that problem, and I often use the defrost and radio together in the a.m.....

 

Had the same problem on my 2002, dealer said this is a known problem, ordered me a new rear window, installed it under warranty and voila no more static.

I noticed a little bit of static a week or so ago. I think it was w/ the cd player, but haven't noticed it since. Let us know, or just me, what you do. Thanks.

 

I just bought an 2000 SE with 65,000 and am experiencing this very same problem. I'd hate to have to replace the entire rear window just to get rid of static. Does this also occur with aftermarket radios?

 

I get this problem all the time, especially if its a weaker station. It also seems the wetter the back window is the worse the static is. They really replaced the whole rear window under warranty just for static?
