hey i got a 95 maxima, im lookin to get a newer one
since search has been disabled - anyone have the real number on the 0 to 60 for '02 and '03 maximas

i know motortrend said 6.7 but i heard some people say its fake
what about the v6 altima? is it just as fast?

im also lookin at acura 3.2 cl and mazda 6

any other good alternatives in the low 20 k range?

based on my 1/4 mile times, my 0-60 would be 5.6. most auto's, stock, will run around 6.1, again based on 1/4 times, and 6 speeds will do just under 6 seconds. V6 altima is roughly the same. Acura 3.2 CL and TL are sweet cars, a tad slower in acceleration, mainly cause they weight a lil more. I've raced a TL type S a the track, pulled on him till the very end. They have nice top end, and are very nicely put together from what I hear. I like the Maxima, but if I had another 5 g's to spend, would problaby have bought the TL cause it's a nicer package.

6.1 huh, i swear i read off of a couple sites that it was like 6.7, thats a totally different number IMO, are you assuming manual or auto

also if i had the extra 5 Gs i would try and get a G35 or a 350z, i gotta see what happens with my salary renegotiation

also been lookin at a '98 m3, i got a hard on for those cars but they are so dam $$$$$$$

Stock autos are SUPPOSED to be 6.7, but there are faster ones. Stock manuals are between 5.8-6.0, again, there are faster ones....

btw i think my 4th gen is a "faster" one, it seems to be quicker than it should, even tho its a piece of 9 year old crap

i had prior knowledge of the concept of a stick shift cuz i was into 4 wheelers and dirtbikes wheni was 13-14 but when i wanted a 5 speed car i just bought one and learned one the way home. it's really not hard at all.
you'll miss that piece of crap when it's gone. i still miss my 95 SE and i haven't had it for over a year.

Just keep it, don't get rid of it, I kept mine, too much time and money spent into it, and lots of stories, I couldnt get rid of the 'ol 1995. 224k miles and still going. . .can't beat that.
