Cutting springs OK?

i have eibach pro kit on my 03 maxima, and the front drop isnt low enough for my taste.. has anyone tried to cut the springs?

Not recomended, it will destroy the integrity of the spring. Also Pro Kit already lowers the car low enough that stock struts will blow out within 3 months due to bottoming out. Maximas do not have enough suspension travel unless ya go with D2, JIC Magic or Cattman coilovers.

don't cut 'em. i did that to my old '93 altima, and it sucks. your car will bounce like it's on a trampoline.

yeah i hit bumps when im in first gear, and i wind up spazzing out beacuse the car will bounce, my foot his the gas and it jumps all over....you DEFINATELY dont want to cut them, i bought m car like that, getting H&R's installed soon

dont do it but some members chop their eibachs and think its OK. wanna go low coilovers.....

I dont recommend it BUT I have Intrax with 2 coils cut and it rides the exact same. dont flame me, its just for looks. My normal set up is Eibachs.
