Help with 2000 Auto Max Se

I am looking to sell my Maxima and I took the car to carmax to get appraised. Yes I know they lowball you but I figured it would give me an idea as far as the low end of the spectrum. They only offered me 7000.00 which seems extremely low. Two of the reasons they state are that the front end repairs and the transmission is slipping from first to second, which tells them it needs servicing. I know there used to be a service bulletin about it but the link is dead. Does anyone know how to go about getting my transmission fixed? At last service they recommended a transmission and fuel flush but wanted 250.00 so passed just because I didn't have the cash for something that may or may not do anything. Will the flush solve this problem of the transmission slipping? If not what would be the result/benefit of flushing my transmission? Also any suggestions on how to get Nissan to repair this transmission especially since there is a service bulletin? I have had no luck in the past with service bulletins, which is one of the reasons I am getting rid of my Max.

Trans slipping 1st to 2nd is a TSB but only under powertrain warranty (5/60)
Solution is a front pump replacement and TCM flash. Not inexpensive!

You don't list mileage, condition, mods, etc. Average mileage for a 2000 Max should be 45-60k based on 15k/yr. Mods = lower value to dealer, higher value to private buyer (sometimes)

Your best bet would be to sell it to a private bidder as-is so you're covered.
You should be able to get upwards of $9,000 in this manner.

Sorry my car is completely stock with 55,000 miles. I will take it to the dealer and see what they say. If they tell me it is out of warranty which it might be since I don't remember the month purchased, I will go from there. What frustrates me is I have taken this car in multiple times for this with no result. They already replaced the transmission once around 24,000 miles. They never told me what happened. One day I just was quickly losing power and then all of a sudden I had nothing.
