Local seller has a '02 Max GXE (basic) auto for sale.
It has 72k (mostly hiway), checked out and very nice mechanically...
The paint on passenger side was repainted but not to the top excellence, it is little blurry can tell it's been painted. And some dings here and there...

I have previously owned a '00 max and trying to come back to one as '02.

What are your thoughts and how much would the price range be...?

Kelley Blue Book is showing that to be around $10.8k. Unlike the 5G, the 5.5G GXE is pretty rare (limited to 5% of total 5.5G Maxima production).

I'd want to know why it was repainted... Could be worth 10 bucks if the damage was bad enough. 72K is a lot of miles for an '02. Normal driving in the 3 years would be closer to 40K. I'd definitely get it through carfax to be sure of any issues (even though you'll probably never know the full story). You should also take the VIN to a Nissan dealer and ask that they tell you what recall work the car has had done.
