What are the top 3 guages to use in a NA car .....
i would assume oil pressure, fuel/air , and tranny temp or exhaust temp.....what do u guys think are the top 3 or the most benificial guages that are neccassery in a NA max.

Oil pressure, Oil Temp, and water temp. In my opinion
None of them are really necessary unless you are taking the car to the track or really taxing the engine on a regular basis.

Exhaust temp won't really tell you much especially if you can't do anything about it...
Same thing goes for a fuel mixture gauge - you would probably want one on a non-normally aspirated engine or if you had a stand alone engine management system.
I would n't worry about a tranny temp gauge unless you were towing a lot.

seriously though, none are "necessary" in a NA max....

your profile shows no engine mods, so why would you need any extra gauges? Just to look nifty on your a-pillar? Spend the $$ on a performance mod instead IMHO....

Don't start that again...we were getting along so well recently

Besides, my maglite is down next to the seat, not on the a-pillar. And my fire extinguisher is in the trunk, not on the a-pillar. Both are practical, not for appearance

Don't really need any of them. If you must oil temp, oil pressure, water temp.

A/F gauges are really the most useless thing in the world that people buy for their cars. Hooking up a A/F gauge to a factory O2 sesnor does nothing but tell you that it is working or not.

If you want to see A/F then you HAVE to use wide band to monitor the A/F.

IMO spend the money on something a bit more usefull, but that's just me. Just trying to keep you from wasting your hard earned money.
