Fog lights?

Just looking for suggestions for what bulbs use to replace the fog lights. The stock ones seem like they are too yellow. I'm I better off leaving those in or is there something better to put in there? Thanks in advance.

The idea of "fog" lights is for "fog" visibility. The yellower the light, the better the visibility in haze and fog. The whiter the light, the worse the visibility. Why go whiter when you can go yellower

Irish, were you one of the folks that was experimenting with the yellow film over the foglight casing in order to replicate the IS300 foglights a loooong time ago?

Either way, it looks good... how'd you do it?

Lamin-X film. I also just switched from (light yellow) PIAa Crystal Ion bulbs to Candlepower Gold bulbs (aka "Narva Golds"), which is a deeper yellow. I am also looking into getting some yellow glass bulb sheaths made, which will basically be a perfect replica for the Lexus fogs......that will take a while and probably won't finish up with that until next summer.....

Whatever you get, just make sure you get 55w bulbs. Anything more and you'll melt the wires.

Your best bet would be PIAA Xtremem Whites or HIDs. I just put HID fogs and at night time, along w/ my HID headlights, I can see very well.

Indeed, 2 cents are meant to be thrown in, and its appreciated that everyone has the patience to repeat themselves over and over again, otherwise the community would be no fun
