INTAKE installation problems

I all,

I just bought a weapon-R intake for maxima 95-01. I am installing it and realising that there are two rubber pipes and two holes for them in the metalic pipe... But my air filter only has 1 big pipe and two small ones ?!?
Plz help me out, I am confused on where to plug that second big pipe and where ...

if you look at this picture you will realise two rubber black pipes connected to the metalic pipe.... one is clearly connected to the motor, but the second one !?!?

thx

i can tell by the maf and manifold that youve got a 4th gen (95-99) there may be some past 4th gen owners that could lend a hand but you want to consider having the thread moved to the 4th gen section. if you are auto, there will be one vacuum line that is left unplugged but is really only noticeable after removing the stock airbox. im not real familiar with the 4th gen vacuum lines.

no... i have a 2k, but i have the same intake with 2 big hoses
but the only problem is my air filter has 2 small hoses and one big one, but the intake i bought was for 95 - 01, so i should be okay, but I just don't understand... my air filter has 2 small hoses, one big one, and the intake i bought has 2 big hoses and 1 small one !?!?!

i just realized that you were out of the US which would explain the difference in the manifold. with that in mind, you may to post in the 4th gen since your body may be different but you have the same motor and hence the same vacuum lines.

My fellow Canuck definitly has a pre 2000 car (4th Gen.) The aluminum upper intake manifold and hood bumpers are dead giveaways. Someone on the 4th gen. forum should be able to help you ICE U-27.
