I have one light left to complete on my climate control - the light that shines down on the shifter. I have a pretty good idea as to how it needs to be done, but I am not sure which ends are the pos and neg.

I think I have seen one member with this MOD, anyone done this changeout before?

you mean the actuall **** console light?

if that..
you just unscrew the screw in the ashtray.. then take out the pannel over the shif ****
then you pop out the shifter cover... and i think its a 194 bulb

actually its a type 74 bulb, the same as the one in the steering wheel... if im not mistaken

Ah, my bad...I didn't describe it right. I am talking about the bulb that is attached to the climate control unit, but not a part of the unit itself. It's the LED that shines through the bottom of the center console unit, onto the shifter.
