Bad smell coming out f the exhaust?????

Bad smell coming out f the exhaust?????

smells like rotten eggs. What should I do? Get a new Cat or waht are my choices. I like the car to sound stock no loud sounds

try changing your gas first before replacing the cat. you just might have bad gas. try another brand, but always use premium.

This happened on a former car of mine. It was an O2 sensor.

what are the signs of a bad O2 sensor other than the smell?

Really poor gas mileage and possibly a check engine light. Also, the tailpipe had a pretty good amount of black soot in it from running rich.

Well I have the SES on, the Gas is always Chevron or Mobil Premium,and 79k miles. Will the Cat be bad..... should I replace it, and with what......

Depending on where you live, you might be covered under your 80K emissions warranty.

Check your owners' manual.
