Solar Gard. The place I got my car tinted before said that they will tint my windows for $20 more than it currently costs, won't give me a receipt or any warranty because I want 35% instead of the legal 50% on the front. All other shops say they will do it, but they use Solar Gard instead of Formula 1.

 

yes solar guard is good. so is Llumar. since you are already going below the legal limit why not shoot for 20%. 35% barely makes it dark.

 

That's the point though. I've had 35% on my Maxima for 2 years and I've never had a problem with the police. Any darker and they will definately give me a ticket. Here in VA, they will sometimes make you rip the tint off on the spot if it's illegal or they will impound your car. Rare, but it happens.
