So i'm goin to Tones Tunes today (local stereo place) and I guess I overestimated how fast I was going and I tried to make a right turn into the parking lot but instead ended up skidding up onto the curve and into some little black pole that was in the ground..I throw the car into reverse and pull into the lot bugging out.. jump out of the car and my whole bumper below the hood of the car including the front grill is currently off and on the ground except for by the drivers side headlight!!! thats right! my bumper is just hanging there

So i was freakin out, my friends were behind me and they were buggin, i didn't know what to do or where to go.. body shop, nissan dealer, home, or how i was gonna get there with half my bumper dangling on the ground.. my front liscense plate and passanger side marker got knocked off and are in my hands, and it sucked.. so i go inside and get some speaker wire and tie it through the hole where the side marker goes and rig it up so my bumper is all ghetto like just tied up..tones reccomended I go to the body shop he deals with which was 2 buildings down, so i gingerly drove my baby on over there, told the guy what happened and that tony reccomended me and he goes "gimme your keys".. so he takes the car into the shop, and is welding for 20 minutes.. i'm figuring he's taking the rest of the bumper off and is gonna keep there car there for a few days and get a new bumper and all.. nope!!! car comes out within 20 minutes and you can't even tell anything happened except for a scratch next to my liscense plate.. he rewired the fog and side marker lights, replaced my liscence plate holder, and welded the whole thing back on!!! incredible!! within like 20 minutes... luckily it hit just weird enough that it basically just detached the bumper where it's suppoed to be attached, not damaging anything really besides scratches

and best part.. no charge.. he hooked me up hardcore...(i gave the mecahinc a 20 spot anyway just because you gotta)..

wow!! i can't believe what happened in that hour.. i'm gonna get a new bumper withhin a few weeks anyway, but he said this is fine forever if i wanted to keep it, and it got pulled off just right that nothing was seriously damaged.. but it looked like the car was totalled, swear to god..

there's no moral or anything, just thought i'd share.. off to six flags in the mornin' with a fully functional front end, so peace!!!

okay, if i remmeber, the bumper has springs located in it.. kinda like springs that absorb shock.. soo, i think u broke those.. i still would get them checked at nissan just ta be sure.. and if u dont get them checked at nissan and they seem to have a problem, well ask for genuine nissan parts.. the other cheap stuff can really suck!
