Cone Filter Install

I know this is probably the easiest install there is.. but i just had some questions about it. I removed the existing air box and replaced with a Cone Filter which i attached with that steel adapter that connects from the cone filter to the tube...now correct me if im wrong is the MAF sensor located behind the mesh screen inside the tube? is there anything i should watch out for, i dont want to damage the MAF sensor? Lastly the air temp sensor that was on the stock airbox it is now left hanging.. i have it tied with fishing line beside the cone filter..is that where it should be? Thanks in advance for these lame questions ;D

A midpipe just smooths out the airflow... you can do w/o it provided you have the adaptor to connect the cone to the MAF....
