I was visiting a speed shop in my moms area yesterday and stopped in.spoke to the manager about a port and polish job , he quoted me $180 dollars to do it, with me just giving him the manifold and the elbow piece. I would have to take it off myself which isn't a problem. He said he would port them to the size of the gasket. Fair price or am i getting ripped off?

 

I checked around the internet about a year ago and was quoted around $500 for a port & polish. Keep us posted.

 

See ,that was the price range i was thinking he would quote me too, was that 500 including him taking the intake off plus porting and polish ? This guy quoted me 400 to do it all. He was working on a smoking hot Vg30 TT. It look freaking unbelievable , its was getting stuffed into into a datsun 310 drag car !

 

can you do that to a plastic intake.

 

Only 2K-2K1s are plastic.

 

Why we so unlucky. I want to make one out of aluminium.
