does anybody know how to "tighten" the hood so it closes better or more secure?? i noticed that i can push the hood down just a bit more when i press on it. also when im on the freeway sometimes the wind catches under and it looks like it is loose or something. And finally when i start my car w/remote the hood vibrates for one moment. any ideas? thanks

 

I believe there is a hood rattle TSB out there somewhere.

 

well the little puch after it closes is normal i also have it it does not rattle while driving though.

i can lift mine just a little bit when its closed, it doesnt close 100% tight...i dont notice any rattles tho.

 

the two round isolators need to be adjusted


just unscrew them counter clockwise to raise them a tiny bit, will take care of the problem

 

i think i had the same problem take it to your local macanic shop or if u have a socket wrench at home it right above your front struts u should be able to tighten it there mine was suppper lose

 

where are the isolator things you need to tighten/raise?
