Looking for a Grille

I am lookin into a grille for my max. Should i buy a pre-made one or just go to Home Depot and buy some mesh and do it myself?

And if i can do this myself, what kind of mesh is good?

Home depot....low key, cheap, and won't rust (galvanized)

I am lookin’ for the grille myself but in my 2K1 I would have to gently cut out existing one and I don’t really know how this is going to work out.
I bet somebody did it already, and I can’t wait to see details,

grille-tech, oh you mean "rust-tech"....they are notorious for rusting in short order. Not made of real stainless steel apparently.

grille tech has some nice grills they just require the removal of the stock grille instead of goin over it which i prefer it isnt that expensive and theres no drilling or cutting

They are wrong. Galvanized steel (if it's truly galvanized) will not rust, that's why they make gutter guards out of it. in addition, mine is painted with primer and 3 coats of automotive paint...no have had no rust problems.

those come in packs of 5 or 6 for like 7 bucks..
get antirust spray.. 3 bucks.. spray some..
paint if u want
spend 10 bucks and hav 5 grills.. when they rust.. just replace them..thats it..

instead of spending 60 bucks

nice grille but you can still see the stock one. is there a way you can take the stock one off and just have that other grille on?

I have both Street Scene grill on my 2k1, I had them triple chrome process,( cost me 200$ CDN for chrome process ) I cant tell you how many people look at it and are like wow, I get a lots of compliments. I cut the original grill and I think it look better that way. I'll take some shots later today.

Cheers
