exhaust fumes..too much?

I noticed that my car seems to be giving off a lot of exhaust fumes. It may be more noticable now that it's cold, but it still seems like a good amount more than other cars. Is this normal? And could this mean anything? The max is running fine, but I just want to make sure. Please let me know if this could mean something or I'm just being paranoid.
thanks

Explain fumes.

Or simply do you mean the smell of used gas?

It doesn't really have the smell of gas/smoke. Its pretty light in color. Just seems like a lot more than other cars. I guess I'll take a pic.

Is it just light gray smoke or is it blue or black smoke?

If it's more right after you start and it's a bit cold out, this is normal.

It's light grey. Even after it's warmed up its still seems like a lot. Esp at a red light, when the car is still, it is more visible.

Could be running rich...?

And how's the coolant levels? (just to rule out any head gasket leakage)

running rich? Is that too much gas?

The coolant is filled to the max line.

Does the smoke disappear or does it float around. it is disappears..thats fine( being cold)..but if it doesnt then thats smoke and you have a problem.
Put a white tissue papaer on the exhaust for 15-20 seconds..if you see oil then that means you O2 sensory is wacked...if you see water..it's not the O2 sensor but something else..

This is unburned fuel and /or water not oil.
