Blue LED Interior Conversion...Done(56K Warning)

After a few months of school and work...I can finally say I've completed the conversion. I have to thank Blkmax95c for all the help.

I've got the standard conversion on my cardomain page(window switches, security lights, etc)

I did a custom key ring with two 3mm Blue LED's...heres a pic

Next I did the AC controls, I used 5mm which I think created the spots of brightness...then thought the stock bose radio would be the same...I was wrong and my radio backlights went out because I took one bulb out(it was soldered to the board). So I sent out to do the impossible and it took four hours and two fuses...I created a custom setup with 3mm Blue LEDs. I used five in all...the results were flawless...The radio is a consistent blue glow...So far I've received good compliments about them...here's a pic

I also changed up the defroster lights to white

I also did the underdash glow by the shifter

Here's a custom dome light setup 9 3mm White bulbs surrounded by 4 5mm blue. It's hard to see....

that is nice. where did you get your leds at? I totally dig the key ring. I take it, for that, you only did a remove and replace for the keyring bulbs?

Great job!

Pri, looks really nice. I love the blue led keyring. I've started doing CCL under the dash for floor lighting. Once that's done I'll start on the LEDs.

can you teach me how to decide the polarity or pos/negtive sideof radio? I thnk we have the same idea, i already ordered 3mm bulbs coz 5 mm is way to big for the space. i've done manual A/C and it has bright spots as well. thx

Nice, I am doing blue as well. Already got the clock blue.

I got them from cwithk@netvigator.com, MaximaPolak recommended him. It take about 10 days to get the LEDs though. I think he offers a discount to org members. For the AC Controls I used a 5mm, the AC and Radio controls are a PITA..Just a little warning...but I will definitely help...if anyone is around Virginia Tech...I'll even help

hey man, I just received 50 white leds, now i'm just waiting for the resistors to come in. If you want we could get together and hook up both of our rides. I'm looking to do all door switches, HVAC, HU, clock, ignition, domelight, heated seat switch, and storage pocket. Let me know.
