Those of you with the factory trunk mounted 6 pack CD changer.....

I discovered yesterday that my CD changer isn't working quite right. It won't play any of the discs, it just cycles through from 1 to 6 and then displays an "Err" message on the head unit. Has anyone else had a similar problem?

I recently had the battery and alternator die on me, both of which were replaced but I can't help but think the two are somehow related.

Any advice/help would be greatly appreciated.

Have you tried taking out the sleeve and reinserting it? Just a thought. Also, try putting in some different CDs. Not had this particular problem... yet? Hope not.

yeah tried reinserting the cartridge a couple of times and switching the CD's. there's definitely power getting to the 6 pack unit but the head unit refuses to recognize any CDs. thankfully the single CD player in the head unit still works.
