one-of-a-kind emblem on my max

and no i dont mean an SE-R one lol

ok when i shaved the emblem of my car i also took off the nissan emblem for a completely clean look. i filled in the holes with bondo and painted it.

here is the result

well after a few months of that i finally decided that i was not 100% happy with the way it looked. i wanted to do something that was original. i didnt like the big emblem (even though its smaller then a 02/03 one) i also didnt like how far it stuck out. it messed up the clean lines.

so what could i do???
well after much brainstorming followed by research here is what i did -

i got a smaller nissan emblem from a "source"

here it is compared to the HUGE stock one (the following pics were taken with my phone so they arent the best quality) its smaller (all around and the horizontal part that says "nissan", thinner, and isnt completely filled in. the "nissan" is not in black..its the bronze color like the AE headlights

well after some modification to the emblem to fit the contours of the trunk lid...here it is on the car

BTW guys -- the big OU is a car magnet, not a sticker, so it's not like it is a permanent thing, just something to be displayed at certain times.

i have the 16' 5 spokes on right now. the old "hubcaps" are waiting to go to a good home. you can see those in one of the older pics.
i love the spoiler-less look. just looks sleak with nice smooth lines.

I have a B15 Sentra, and the emblem is smaller than the one on my Maxima, but those pics aren't the best, so I can't tell if the emblem he used is the one from a B15 Sentra.
