I agree....I put a tank of chevron 93 in this morning. Drove the car 200 miles today and it ran beautifully

Costco Gas?

Anyone know if gas from Costco is OK to use? I read here the other day about Unical 76 having some additive that causes mis-fires in our engines.

Thanks!

I use Shell all the time and it works great.. I felt my car didn't perform as well when I used Gulf, but it might have just been my imagination

I use any major 93 octane gas in mine, and it runs great. I try to stick with Texaco or Citgo, no Arco crap for my ride. I would use Cheveron, but there is none around me. :-(

STAY AWAY FROM THAT COSTCO CRAAAP!!! that stuff'll mess up your engine! Costco is good for food and goods, NOT gas!

Gas

North East region U.S.
My top pick is Amoco Ultimate it smoothed out some rough idle on some domestics i've driven and runs cleanly. I use it unless I'm somewhere they're not available.
Sunoco Ultra 94 is more expensive and my second choice.
Exxon Supreme or Mobil are the same now but my third selection.
Stay away from the generic stations god knows what they're pumping in nomatter what the pump says...unless you've got $ to burn...

I run only Shell (except for extreme emergencies) and have no problems, no water in the line or whatever.

I have 3 stations that do 80-90% of my fill ups. All self serve.

I have yet to try a few fill ups on Sunoco (rare here) 94 octane, but I would not expect a difference.

Costco gas is from Unocal 76....

The same tanker that fills my local Costco station also fills the Unocal 76 down the block. Sometime I even see the price is the same for both, but most of the time Costco is roughly 1 to 5 cents cheaper.
