Ok heres the problem guys. Please help me with this.

Well whe i start my car in the morning it idles real weird. its kept int eh garage all the timeim not using it. so im sure its not the weather. I usually let it warm up fr 5-10 min and when i drive it it like wants to die even on the highway. It has no Power and does not want to go above 3500 RPM. I took it to get the code read and all it says is running lean. no other error code. ALso when i give it gas it makes a REALLY LOUD noise like it wants to go but cant. the air filter is clean, dont think theres any exaust leaks. But I do have an eliminated cat, but still has a brand new 02 sensor and brand new ignition coils on the car. Any ideas of what it can be? Someone told me it might be my MAF?or even the Eliminated Cat but its been eliminated for a year and no problems.

Please help me out if you can

Would recommend a new MAF as your symptoms match very closely to every other MAF failure that's been reported.

hey man thanks but i went to auto zone cuz all my lights were one

and i had 7 error codes
#1 P1320X2 which is the coils but i replaced those with the upgraded ones
#2 P0302 Cylinder #2 Misfire
#3 P0300 Random Misfire
#4 P0171 System lean bank 1
#5 P0733 Gear 3 ration Incorrect
#6 P0174 System lean bank 2

I took out my spark plugs and 2 of em were burnt pretty bad so i changed them all. its running a little better but still kinda messed up and sluggish but all the lights went off. I didnt fully reset the ECU overnight cuz i used my car till like 1 this Am and had to go to work at 7 so any other ideas? I do not know what 2-6 are caused by could it of all been by the spark plugs?

That's an *** load of codes!!!! But it does sound MAF related.

i know but would the maf give you a P1320 and a cylinder misfire?

maf shouldnt cause P1320 but would cause 0171. i would check the coils with a voltmeter even if they are the updated ones. just because they were updated doesnt mean they would have a zero failure rate. i would definately replace the maf then have the autozone clear the codes then see if 1320 pops up again. if so, test the coils and check the plugs to ensure proper gaping. out of curiousity, what plugs did you use?

My bad MAF caused P0171 and P0174...I don't know about all the other codes ya have.

I have no cel, so no codes come up. With an intake and y pipe i dont seem very quick at all. When i floor it i can pass 3500 but VERY slowly. My 1st & 2nd gears do it easily. Could this be my MAF? I've cleaned my tb and good sparks.

I rode in twillins car last night, it's got major issues.

First off, it runs normal under about 3k rpm, then floored or anytime after ~3k, it runs like complete a$$.

I would say it's the MAF, it feels like Yugo going up a hill pulling a 5 ton trailer after 3k rpms.

Yup i think im going to order a MAF today thanks guys hopefully this will fix it
