Ack some kids in a late model Chev PU kept up with me last night!!! The disgrace of it all. I'm sure it was modified, but come on its a truck. Anyway, that sends me back to the parts bin a little earlier than I expected. Still waiting for Spring for the supercharger, but I figure maybe there is just enough good weather left up here to get a new exhaust system on. I have decided on the Cattman Y pipe for sure, but have a few questions about other parts. In truth I have not been under the car to actually look over the parts so If I don't seem to know what order they all go in or even what's under there please excuse my ignorance.

My first question is regarding aftermarket catalytic converter. I believe there is a post in the group deal forum about RT cats from lightning motorsports. Is this a worthwhile mod? Is it just one more part in the restrictive chain of the stock exhaust that needs to be opened up?

Next the "exhaust system" proper. I had been planning on getting the Stillen "B" pipe and exhaust system as both are made of Stillen. However, I have also seen dyno charts for the HKS sytem, and have recently heard people buzzing about GReddy's system. Both the Greddy and the HKS are aluminized mild steel. I'd prefer to have an entire stainless steel system.

Finally, any little trinkets I've overlooked? There is a post in the Group Deals forum about a short pipe (can't remember right now and too lazy to go look. Basically, I want THE best exhaust system available. Thanks as always for your comments.

I've been waiting for the b pipe from Stillen but their other stuff have been backordered so much that they "don't have time to make it."

I don't believe GReddy has a cat-back out yet, but their mufflers are SS.
