JMS grille installed *pics*

Just installed this today. Got it from a fellow org member but there were some chips in the paint so I thought I'd try something a bit different. I painted the grille with black undercoating spray. Because it's a rubberized paint, I'm hoping it will resist chipping. Whatcha think?

Looks good but a Nissan emblem in the middle would set it off even better.

Quality seems to be very good.

I used to have the Grille-Tech lower inserts about a year and a half ago. Those rusted (even after priming and repainting) so I got rid of them.

Looks great. I've been considering the same thing. If it were mine I would spray some black on those horns to really clean up the look. Either way, it's a very sharp look.

Triple and Puppet, I still have the painted grille. There are a bunch of chips on it. I'm planning on re-painting it this winter. Maybe next spring I'll put it back on.

basictrade - I'm looking for an emblem. Maybe something different than the standard Nissan hamburger logo, though. Eyelids came from LeftCoast Tuning. Sadly, they're not being made anymore.

Cool... but the grille ya got now is good too... I just said I preferred the old painted one... also cuz I might try to do that myself... just gotta find some matching majestic blue paint... if it doesn't turn out well, I might just go with the black mesh too...

I don't like how you can see the horns through it......the second picture looks better since you can't see the horns.

Looks great! Looks very similar to my grill-tech. Where/how much did u get it?
I've been lucky w/ my grill so far... 16 months and no rust at all.
I love how the hellas lurk behind the grill too!

Here is the link for their website. It may look similar to the Grille-tech, but it is a far better product. I purchased mine through a GD we had almost a year ago. Great guys to work with

myktek - I'm going to keep the stock grille. I may put it back on at some point.

MaximaPolak - The Hellas are more or less vilible depending on the light and angle of viewing. In the first pic the sun was in front of the car, so you can see them more. I kinda like being able to see them in that light. Other times they are barely visible.

Aliti19 - I got it from an org member who never installed it. Less than retail price, but I had to repaint it, cause there were 3 good sized places where the black paint had come off.

I dont like it. It seems there are 2 kinds of grills out there - chicken wire fence grills, and everything else. The chicken wire grill can be made yourself, all it takes is a trip to home depot. Interesting thing is that they have on their site the other kind, but only for altimas.

You have to see it in person, the JMS grill doesn't look like your average Home Depot Racing grille. It's much more substantial.

I like it. But I'm with Polak on the horns standing out too much. Where did you get those Hellas by the way?

Got the Hellas almost 2 years ago from a GD here on the org.

Here's another pic. How much of the Hellas you see is really dependent on the light, distance and angle of view. Lithting and angle are the same as in my first post but this photo is a bit farther away and the Hellas are much less noticeable.
