Alright, ive heard both sides, cant do it, can do it. Electrical problems? Adapter? Has anyone here actually put 00-01 lights in a 02-03 maxima?

yes. as well as the opposite. You can put 2002/3 on a 2000/1

 

Yes. But the 00-01 are smaller. There will be a small gap between front of the headlight and the bumper.

NOTE: This is from my experience only and I've not heard this happening to anyone else.

 

See my sig. I had my bodyshop do it for me when my headlights were stolen the second time. I have no close up pics yet. The small gap can go unnoticed in darker cars with a rubber weather strip, that's what they did to mine.
