2002 Maxima Brakes
2002 Maxima Brakes
I already had mine fixed you know with the help and advice of some of the board member on here. I just remembered though that earlier in August when I was taking my car to Pep Boys to have an o2 sensor changed the technician came out and told me something about my rotors being screwed up. He asked me I wanted them to do that work also and told me it would only cost $1,900 dollars. Fast forward to when I was at Midas. The cashier tells me. That will be $230. So I ask him. "That's all? Did you guys switch the rotors or anything?"
He tells me they are in PERFECT condition and nothing is wrong with them at all. Go figure. So case in point. Screw Pep Boys and Screw Crooked Car Mechanics....

Pep Boys sucks... I avoid it like the plague.
$1900??? They must be on crack.... I'd report their a$$. I've NEVER heard of ANY brake job costing that much. Even if you needed 4 rotors, pads and calipers it shouldn't cost that much.
