even tint idea

i got a 4th gen max tinted 15% all around
the side windows look mad dark and the back window looks much lighter, because it lets more light in

if i get a 5th gen i was wondering if anyone had pictures or thoughts of this idea: 20% side windows, 5% back window

i want to make it look as even as possible

right now my side windows look too dark compared to the rear window

Way too dark for me. Will definitely get pulled over here.

I have 25% all around and I'm happy w/ it.

I've got 20% everywhere except the windshield. I wish it was 5%. I think it would probably look good to do 5% on your rear window.

5% all around and if you feel lucky and can find it, 2.5% (yes it does exist!) on the back glass.

well if its illegal all together in ny then any tint is gonna draw attention...its very easy to tell if a window is tinted...even if its a really high %

i have 22% all around and haven't had a problem in the 6 months since its been on the car, but i live in ohio. we only have a few cities that seem to pull people over for it

i've been pulled over for speeding with the tints and the cop didn't say a thing. tint's are not illegal in NY state. no offense but i doubt someone from GA is familiar with NY state law. there's a limit of 70% on the front two windows and no limit on the rears.

I've been around longer than you ever will be, you would think that if i cared about how many posts i had i would have actually posted more?

And here is your answer. Tint there is illegal. Stop whining. Don't do the crime if you can't do the time. You know there is only on damn solution to your problem right? No tint or light tint. Like that is so hard to figure out.

I love Florida. 2.5% on my civic for 2 years and never a word said. Even got pulled over 3 or 4 times. Haven't tinted the maxima yet because it came with 35%, but next spring I'll probably get 5 all around because 2.5 was hard to see out of at night.

If i wanted a response like yours i would have went home and whined to my mom about my tickets.... the HELPFUL RESPONSE would have been for you to give me an alternative or some way GET AROUND being hassled... but clearly you DO NOT know how to be helpful on such a topic.... but THANK YOU for your unparalleled knowledge of NYS and NYC laws, with out you i would probably be driving through stop signs and red lights too.

No tint or light tint.
I am sorry you have basic comprehension issues. Want to give me that finger to my face now? ethug.

want me to spell it for you?

50% - 35% is what most seem to get away with without tickets.

well all the ticket talk is nice and all, but i didnt ask about tickets or legality since i really don't give a shiznit

i'm worried about what looks the best and i think the side windows look unproportioned to the rear window which is why i suggested darker tint on the back window

they dont pull u over for anything in philly - speeding, tinting, waving a gun out the window, they just don't care
