Tcm?

Is there any way to Re-map our TCM shift points, or reprogram when the car shifts and how hard.

You can't reprogram shift points, but you can make the shifts firmer.
Get a modified valve body for your tranny. There are a few places on here that will exchange yours for a modified one. I can't think of the name, somebody should post it in this thread for you.

Why do you want to re-map the shift points? The reason I would want to re-map the shift points in my car is because at WOT the car shifts before redline. In general the trans shifts earlier than I would like it to. Doesn't fit my style of driving. I noticed you have an I30...I remember reading a post in which someone suggested using a I30 TCM, so you don't have to manually shift the car to get it to shift at redline. At what RPM does your trans shift when going WOT?

maximumtuning.net does the VB mods for our cars. It's on my list of future upgrades!! Stage 2 is the one I've heard is the best choice for street driving.

my car shifts at 6100-6200 in first gear it holds a bit longer in 2nd and 3rd. if i manual shift it it will go to redline but it delays a bit so when im manual shifting i have to think ahead and shift when the needle is at 6000 in order for it to acctually shift at 6600 or i hit the Limiter (scary) but it would be nice just to have it go all the way to 6600 every time or raise the redline to 7200.
