is that all? i was thinking maybe a lip kit or body kit im not sure what yet. should i leave it sunlit sand or paint it?

 

i just figured you were looking for inexpensive stuff. umm, if you want to repaint it a color you prefer but i personally would not fork over the loot. i wouldnt have put a body kit on mine if it didnt come that way from nissan so maybe im not the best person to answer. id rather put the money into headers, vb recalibration if its auto, further suspension mods and so forth.

 

fog lights, spoiler, SE tails, clear bumper lenses, Stillen classic aero body kit. That would be a hell of a start.

If I were you I'd uninstall any external neons and trash them.

 

It all depends on what "Looks Good" to you. Some people like different things. Do what you want to do, that is why this is modding to your taste, not modding to the crowds taste.

That is the thing I cant stand about the "import Scene". Everyone wants to do what looks cool, or what everyone else is doing. I like the Maxima crowd because everyone does it their way.

If you want to know what would make the car look better.... Well, look at Igor911's car. He has a sunlit sand color and the car looks great. Lowered, Stillen Kit, Wheels, that is the classic look. Nothing more has to be done. After that is should all be a secret.

I also recommend taking pics of your sound system off the web. That is a sure way to come out one morning and find it all gone. Just my .02

 

Lower it, 2k2 HID's, clear turn signals, 2K2 tails...imo 2k se tails would not look good on your car, color is to light.

 

You should have started with an SE. But beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

 

my car is already lowered 2 inches just enough to improve the handeling and to get rid of the nasty wheel well space. do they sell 2k2 tail lights that are like a gun metal color not chrome? already beat you to the external neons. i started thinking it was to ricey. clear corners? how much more clear can you get? the stereo every one that knows my car knows i have it. so does it look nice to just be getting started? what about the rims? i was thinking more of a 5 spoke with a big lip or mesh(i think thats what it was reffered to in a previous post). Do i need to go bigger with the rims? all ideas are appreaciated and im taking into consideration. yes i know modding is about customization and it will be my style. i just want to know what others on the org think. thanx adam

-Stillen kit
-some 18" or 19" gunmetal rims with chrome lip (if that look is for you, if not some Mille Miglia Evo 5s or Moda R6s or AT Italia Inox's)
-dark 00-01 SE tails (if that look is for you, if not chrome 02-03 tails would look good too)
-any kind of fogs
