I would like to know what spring rates you have with your D2 coilovers, and the ride quality compared to stock or other aftermarket spring/strut setups. Any input is welcome. Thanx in adv.

i'm running stock 9/7......its smooth in my opinion.....but then again....i think ALOT differently from other members on this org....

for example....in my opinion i think a ypipe with greddy SP is quiet.....but most others on this board will disagree with me.....another example is....i think Stech/illumina is a smooth combo....others will say H&R/Blues is the farthest they will go....

but then again....i don't do alot of driving (approx 15k/yr) and I don't spend over 50% of my life driving to work/school.....wheres some people do and they want the most quiet/comfortable ride since they are spending most of their time inside the car.....so thats why I have a pretty high tolerance for aftermarket parts....I don't get easily intimidated by it being a lil bit more louder or rougher.....

when you say stock 9/7 what do you mean? I have been adjusting the settings of mine and tonight I think I have a good combo, but couldnt even begin to say what the number is based on your setting score....

Are we talking springs? I didnt even know there was an option for spring rates, I just ordered them and they came. Would have been nice if someone would have asked me when taking the order.

Yes I am talking about spring rates.....stock is 9/7.....some people can run like an 8/6 for softer....or maybe 10/10 for stiffness.....just all depends on your taste

You mean stock on the coilovers is 9/7, I think. Somewhere on the board it said that the spring rate for a stock Maxima (with stock springs) was 7/5. Can anybody confirm this? I am in the D2 GD and am thinking I'll order them with 9/6 rates. I'm thinking higher than 6 on the rear would be pretty stiff. I don't auto-X, so I don't need a really high spring rate.
