my cali spec car

is there a way to get rid of my cali specs on my car, it came from there but i am in oklahoma and i don't all of those damn sensors everywhere. please help

I also would like to know this. Just curious but it is probably going to require a new ECU. Anyone have experience in this area?

what sensors are you looking to eliminate? the biggest differences that stick out is that cali spec has one extra o2 sensor, swirl control, 2 precats, and different exhaust manifold.

You CAN switch them out (I know someone has), but I think it would be a lot of work without much (if any) noticable effects.

IMO I think it is kind of a waste of time and money.

On the flip side.....what if you move to CA from another state, do you have make your car Cali spec?
