you will need the correct resistors for certain applications. Most are not a direct swap though...will require some soldering....

if you need resistors, you can get them from radio shack get the 330 ohm 1/4 watt 5% tolerance. In the next couple of days I plan on putting a write up on how to convert the stock bose unit to blue LED using 3mm LED's...

if you order bulb from ebay, you need resisitors. those bulbs are for 3volts..not 12 volts. If you order bulbs from superillumination.come...those bulbs are for 12 volts..and there's appilication on the website. i just got 3mm led for my radio...I need to know how to tell the sides on the board... you need to soilder the led for radio, A/C...window switch..rest of them you don't really have to if you get 12 volts ones

What kind of bulbs do those ambient lights under the climate-control have? Can I make them brighter without even putting LCD's in? Thanks.

bl asd- by bulbs, you mean LED's right? you can determine the polarity by looking at the design of the bulb. one the above links should help. then match the ones already on the board.

TheBigDu - in my max, there is only one bulb there and it is a regular bulb, such as the ones in the climate control. I have to figure out how to change that also
