Driver side power window wont roll up.
My drivers side power window decided not to roll up. My 36k warrantee ran out already. How can I tell if its the window motor? I opened the door panel up and checked all the wires hoping one of them was just loose. but all the connections were good. I reached inside to were the window motor is and it was really hot to the touch. I'd appreciate any suggestions or advice how to get the window up for tonight.
Thanks guys.

Agreed about the motor. Mine just did it and it cost me like 200 for the motor. Replacing it is fairly easy tho.
Easiest way to check is pull the panel off again and jump the wires with a cordless drill battery and see if it moves at all.

I finally got a motor that works and I tried putting it on. It would be pretty easy but my window is down and inside the door making space really tight. I am about to give up and take it to a shop. Is there an easy way to take the glass window up?
