burger logos

hey how does the burger logo come off the back of my 5th gen, wasn't sure if it was glue like the 4th gens or not, i was to change mine from gross gold to chrome. thanks

On my 2k2 it was stuck on with 2 sided tape. I just gently pulled it off.

If I'm not mistaken, the 2000's have 2 screws on the back-side.
So unless you know a body guy, your trunk would have to be "holy".

The front have pins. I think the back have one pin in the center. Don't take my word for it. Soonerfan recently took his off, hopefully he sees this thread.

2001 has to prongs(or screws) holding it in place along with adhesive it was the only thing not shaved on my rear. it will be gone when i get the car painted.

The 2k2 rear emblem has 2 pins that go into 2 holes. Not sure why, though. They're not screws or clips. Just for positioning maybe? Body work would be needed if you want to remove the emblem.

yeap.. 2 holes. i guess if you wonna be creative. or dont have money to do bodywork and paint. you can put 2 red LED's in there and connect then to your brake light wire .

I took off the Nissan emblems front and rear, and replaced them with JDM Maxima emblems.The Nissan (and JDM emblems) are held in place with double sided tape, and there are two prongs on the OEM emblems. Removal of the rear emblem will leave two holes in the trunk. The new emblems cover those holes completely.
