Intermitent tail lights

Ok so question #2 for today. I looked in the TSBs and didn't see this mentioned so...

2000 GLE and the tail lights like to go out. If you wiggle the harness it will work again for a bit (this is both the parking lights and the brake lights, not sure about the reverse lights). When we had the car in for inspection earlier this year we had been having the issue with the driver's side so we mentioned it and they said they see it all the time and said they tightened something...total cost was $10 for the fix so all good. Now the passanger side is doing it. I looked at the driver's side and didn't see that they zip tied anything or that any of the connections looked any different (like they had something done to them). Anyone know what is going on here?

Thanks

i dont know if this will help.....i had to change my drivers side tail light last october and the guy at Pep Boys helped me do it in the parking lot since i was in a rush. then over the summer back home in CT i had a number of people tell me my light was out...turns out the connection was loose and the bulb was lighting up but it wasn't in the housing. i would make sure everything is nice and tight inside the passenger side housing.

I had a problem when I first got my car with the driver side tail light not working. I think it just wasn't sitting in the housing properly. I haven't had a problem in a while.

i have this problem all the time since the bulbs dont twist in. they just slide into the slot and the connectors keep it in. i just push mine back in
