i have the viper 791X installed by don/pearl96max, and i love it. a ton of other members on the forum have it, and are all pleased. i love the range, combined with the fact that the LCD screen indicates that the car started, which is awesome. they have a new alarm out that is 2 way, but without an LCD screen, just LED lights that light up confirming the car started or locked/unlocked, etc.

even though its a big pricey, thats the way i would go, but you already have an alarm, so i dont know if it can be tied in or not.

Your better off speaking to Don, pearl96max about pricing and questions.

I got the Audiovox Prestige APS996a model.
Installed it ran me $350.
Its a two way pager with remote start. Range is descent and for the price im very satisified.

Thanks guys for the support. Yes a remote start can be added onto your current alarm depending on which it is and what available channels are there. It is typically easier to do it al-in-one, cost wise would be similiar depending on which model you choose.

I do have available several others, but I only trust DEI for my vehicles as well as recommending to others. Biggest/Best/Fortune 500 company must be doing something right....

I would of course recommend a DEI product. Although is your aftermarket alarm with the factory remote? That may be somewhat difficult of a task. Not to mention the range will be severely lacking.

yes its with the factory fob, not sure what the alarm is .. it was installed by nissan dealer when i purchased the car, i am not that much worried about the range .. since at home its right by the window, and at work its maybe 70 feet away from my window.
