Painting kit, front bumper, hood?

Painting kit, front bumper, hood?
I should be getting my MT front lip in the next couple of days. When I go to get it painted, I was going to see about having my chipped up hood repainted.
I was gonna get this done at Mossy Nissan in Houston. Do you think repainting the hood will look tacky? Should I just get the lip painted? And last question: Do I install the lip before getting it painted (do they paint it while it's on the car)?
Thanks a million
Matt

I would get it painted by someone other than the Nissan dealership on account of the crappy paint we have on the car in the first place. I'm in Houston looking for someone to repaint the front of my car also so I will let you know if I find a good place, otherwise let me know if you go somewhere other than the dealership.

Matt, check out Sunrise Paint & Body in Bellaire. They repaired my car and repainted literally half of the car and did a gradual paint process so you don't get that "this panel looks darker than that" effect.
The paint is flawless and they did a very good job prepping the car prior to applying the paint. They matched everything down to the amount of metal chips. It's been a bit over a year and the paint has held up *very* well. No chips and whatnot.
They're also a certified Lexus and Infiniti repair shop by the way. You'll see mostly those type of cars (and the occasional exotic) in their repair lot.
