People with bose head unit issues...
Burn your cd's slower! That's all it takes to get rid of that nasty ticking noise. When I burned my cd's at 48x they alawys "ticked" from the time they were new. I tried some the other day at 8x and they play perfectly! Hopefully this helps other people

Doesn't fix the issue. I burn at 4x and it still skips. The problem is using cheap CDs. Don't use green/lime bottom CD-Rs. Use Verbatim (preferably Verbatim Vinyl tops). The green bottom CD-Rs are transparent and have portions that are MUCH more transparent than others which is presumably why they skip. I have tested this on numerous Maximas with Bose units and it fixes the problem. The more expensive and darker film-disk that is used on the Verbatim CD-Rs keeps the ticking away.
