ive been told by the nissan customer service rep that my VIN isnt within the lsited VINS for the cold start engine rattle. i hear it at least 3 times a week, i told the service guy and he said they will look into it... is this something that can be taken care of on my own if they wont fix it?

 

Hmm... I wouldn't even try it unless I was a mechanic and had access to shop tools. I hear it almost every day. BTW, the TSB indicates some noise is normal, so guess what the dealer must likely will tell you... Good luck.
