Cracked Muffler...Sweet

So i'm drivin with my music up kinda loud earlier and it's raining out...I'm at a stop sign and kinda rev it up for a semi-fast start for no reason and the car hops real hard a few times bc the tires were tryin to gain traction and of course I let go of gas as soon as I felt it...then my car sounds like my friend's eclipse = not good ...so i check and the very back of the muffler pipe cracked pretty much all the way around so I guess it's time for a new muffler...very untimely bc I don't have much money to begin with and I just bought Tokico Illuminas and H&R Springs...I can't believe even harsh vibrations could cause the muffler pipe on a 2000 to crack like that..o well time to check meineke or somewhere

you live in MA guy, it probably rusted through, then cracked. Same thing happened on my 3rd gen, 2 solobarics with 1200 watts actually caused the muffler to break at different rust points, I had the muffler changed about 2 years before hand, one of the sh!tty things about ma...

you may want to check local salvage/junk yards. there are some around me that would sell the axel back w/ muffler for very cheap and you know it is much better quality than anything you would get on a budget at a chain exhaust store. maybe even post up a wanted thread and see if anyone has one sitting around that wants to get rid of it.

Apparently it's not just me with this muffler problem bc they are on national backorder as of this time...I never knew that there were that many problems with the muffler pipe cracking...No worries for me tho bc I just called my neighbor who owns a Nissan dealership and he said "Don't worry, I'll take care of it whenever you want to bring it in" ... Gotta love connections
