headlight case for HID's

Anyone know where I can get a cheap replacement headlight assembly? my lights are fine, but as you can see from my sig, the driver's side was replaced by insurance because of an accident while the passenger's side wasn't. Now the passenger's side looks like a$$ next to the pretty, shiny new one on the other side of the bumper.

The only other option I can think of is to wake up in the morning to holes in place of the lights...

Why don't you try plastic polish and buff the one that's foggy up a little. Try the detailers forum I know that there's a good brand of polish that is recommended. If you have any problems with losing them I can help you lose them somewhere! Good luck

from the sound of things up there, you NJ guys KNOW how to lose the lights. It sounds like all I have to do is drive up 95 and once I enter NJ, they'll just dissapear!

Anyway, thanks for the advice. I'll try to find it there. I've been looking for polish for the darn things for two years now anyway!

Yeah thieves up here have gotten so good they wait at the toll plaza and jack em before you pay the toll. That's why us locals don't stop to pay the tolls!

yes. someone is making just the case, yet they cost like 300 or so, it's one of those ebay oem replicas, someone talked about it here in a thread not too long ago, the conclusion was, a whole new headlight, for the price given, isn't so much more, and it's a lame deal.

Try to polish it, i think a few scratches on a plastic case isn't a reason to get rid of it, try and use something non abrasive to fill in fine scratches, but be careful.

Some ideas i have are possibly tooth paste, or a polish used on glass or acrylic materials. You'd probablly also be better off doing this by hand as well.

I'd also like it if you could get just the lens. Anyone know who the OEM is on these? I'm sure Nissan contracts these out to someone.
