driving with a dead catalyst?

code p0420& p0430.if my catalyst is not function..if i still drive it ,will it cus any problem? cus my car still running smooth with no crap sounds...anybody know?

and how come my 2 pre-cat dead together?? i saw a lots of ppl only got one code..mine got 2.. is it related to the coils failed before?? and the oils get into the catalyst?

Depends on what's wrong with it. Ideally you either want to fix it, or remove it/gut it.
