new idleing

new idleing

It is dec and i live in ny. it is getting very cold out. when i start my 2k, i just noticed it idles at about 1.4k rpms which is higher then usual. is this because of the cold? i am pretty sure it is but i just wanna make sure.

i was going to ask the samr thing but i sem to be at about 1.6K i think it is the cold. i remember last winter is was at about 1.4 though.

Yes, it is because of the cold. You will notice that as soon as your car is warm the idle will drop back down to ~600. Nothing to worry about.
