Wheel Alignment - Basic Question

Does a 5th gen need a 4 wheel alignment? I swear I read in here that due to the rear suspension, only the front wheels can be aligned. Just want to make sure before I bring it in this week.

Thanks. I'm sure this has been covered, but I couldn't find it.

Unless the rear axel is bent or twisted (accident) it is a waste of money to get a 2 wheel alignment. There is NO adjustment on the rear end and if the rear end is off most likely the axel needs to be replaced.

So the answer is NO you do not require a 4 wheel alignment and to get one would be pointless.

when i went in they said i can only do a 4 wheel, due to the suspension setup. you cannot do a front without doing the rear.

I talked with my dealer and they first said they can align all 4 wheels but after talking about it for a minute he said they only need to do the front for $129.95. I won't be going over there anytime soon.....

Thanks for the responses.

you should pay about 50 bucks for a 2 wheel alignment from the dealer. DO NOT PAY FOR A 4 WHEEL ALIGNMENT and personally I would report them to nissan and tell the dealership you reported them. $129? I would be talking to nissan RIGHT NOW if I was you. They are trying to steal from you man.
