You need to order the bulbs from nissan approx 1.00 ea I think it takes 5 just replace them all while you have the unit out.

Which light is out? If it's the indicator bulbs beneath the buttons that is going to be a bit more involved as it will require that you solder in new LEDs. However, if it the actual panel backlight, it's a bit easier. There are 3 bayonet housings for the backlighting that are simply plug and play...you may simply need to re-screw them in, they may have come loose. I would take it apart and diagnose the problem before dumping money into it.

its the backlighting, but the indicators below the air position selector are all at different depths, some have fallen back further than others, i guess i will just have to pull it out and apart to see whats up, I was also wondering if anyone knows exactly how to install the digi unit, i know it requires the addition of some sensers, 4 i belive, but has anyone done it yet? and if so can anyone provide me with a parts list or install instructions?

I didn't hesitate on what the problem was i just forgot how may bulbs were in the unit because i just had to do it a month ago. And i don't think dumping 5 dollars into someting that you have to pull apart is a waste of time. Especially when it's a common problem.
