well any headlight can fit into any car... u just gotta do some retrofitting... u gotta take it to a body shop and they will mold around the lights... it is possible... but you can just buy HID kits from Yo_Its_Ok

he got a bunch of them... I saw them on his car and they look unbelievable... i want them as my next mod prob...

Yes you will loose the high beam unless you buy an HID kit with low/high beam but that's over 1000 dollars.

The Maxima uses the same bulb for high/low beam.
The VW golf for example has 4 lights 2 for low and 2 for high so then you can put an HID kit for the low beams and still have the high beam.

that was the main reason that i didnt want to get them either... but when i saw hogans (yo its ok) it was unbelievable... first of all you dont need high beams with those things because they are brighter and wider and more intense beam pattern than original high beams... but you still can flash people when u pull back the stick... it turns them on and off... so thats why i am going to get them...

When you pull back the stick for the high beams, it shuts off the HID?

yea.. if u pull it in and let it out a few times fast it makes them blink and it looks exactly as if you were flashing them with regular H4 bulbs...

I ordered my kit from hogan and it gets here in about a week. the day i ordered my kit is the day he had to exchange all his old kits for the new improved kit. The new kit has bluer burners and better shielding. i am getting the kit in about a week and you can bet i will post 100 damn pics of it when its installed..
ohh and the cost is great too.

Yeah Yo is correct. No highs. That's bad if you need recons, but his kits should be easy to remove if need be.

Btw, I got mine from www.xenonshop.com there kits is not that plug and play friendly.

So all you guys putting in aftermarket HID's are losing your high beams? Whatta bummer I never knew that.

I love my HID's, but I also love my highs. Not such a good tradeoff!!

Im telling u taht the HID are so damn bright... they are brighter than High beam on stockers... But you can add lights behind your grille or in your air dam that you can connect to it so when u put on high beams the other lights go on...

You can turn on/off the fog lights, so that way you can still get attention

I don't miss highs. Here in Hawaii, there is really no reason to have them.
