I recently posted about this topic. I used a brush on type paint (brand is Folia Tech):

Do a search for the old thread and you'll get the price and where I purchased, along with some application type details.

sup,
u can just use spray paint and just mask off the control arms and the rubber dust boot thingy.. use newspaper to mask the larger parts so you don't need all that much tape.. it's real windy out now so unless you are going to do it indoors, i don't recomend you doing it today.. by the way.. i'm in irvine rite now. keep a look out for a fifth gen with 18's and clear fronts and twin carbon tips

Hey Mdeal, how's your paint job holding up? I got my max on jack stands right now. Still waiting for that 24 hour waiting period to end. I only did 2 coats. Hopefully it will last.

That stuff lasts almost forever. Look at the pics on my site and notice the before "red" pictures. The red was applied many months ago, and they still look fresh.

Here's a hint: you don't have to wait the 24 hours. The first time I waited about 20, as long as the paint is dry to the touch, you should be good to go.
