I have a 2000 max auto. theres something wierd going on with the brake pedal. sometimes it feels soft and sometimes its really firm. what could this be? maybe something with the power assist or too much brake fluid? thanks

 

does it feel hard when you start driving and then soften up? if so it couls just be the viscosity of teh fluid changing, also the corrosion on the rotors will cause a stiff feel.
