HID kits (not 02-03 headlights...)

which one would look best on a 2k1 sterling gray max?

i was thinking 8000k

also what brand should i get?
and what about the fogs?

i was hoping for those headlights umnitza had in store, but since that project seems to have shutdown...

Get 5000K or 6000K. Higher you go up on K rating, the dimmer your lights will be. Why pay few hundred dollars for color?

Get an hid kit with a range anywhere from 4100k(pure white)-6000k(white with a hue of either purple or blue).
The best hid kit to get is philips if you got the money this is the best kit for you, if not contact umnitza and see if he has any left.

Try to search through ebay to find something cheaper, also if you want a bi-xenon kit looks for an h4 bi-xenon hid kit they make them.

Why not just get one of these for barely more than the cost of that kit listed above? And without and retrofitting or DIY modifying required...

it depends on the kit you get. Some kits are plug and play. YOu just put the socket into you headlight harness and it works. Some kits liek the hanabi youhave to wire in there.

Yea if you cant find a descent price on philips or you are on a budget many org members are running xtec hid's either in their headlights or foglights. Check out some of the pics. The price is very reasonable and if you like what you see it would be a good idea to contact umnitza

Guys is it cheaper to buy a "kit"(with bulb ,wiring harness, ballast, etc), or a set of '02,'03 HID headlights? Which looks better? I have a few bucks burning a hole in my pocket and would like to upgrade my AE's smoked headlights for HID.

:attention

definately cheaper to just get an hid kit. You can contact umnitza about their 6000k hid kit that a lot of org members have for 275, and if you want a bi-xenon kit (low beam and high beam(high beam not xenon)) its 375. If you really want a nice kit get philips 6000k. Hope this helps.
